PEAK Scientific, a leading manufacturer of gas generator solutions, has launched the Intura series—a brand-new product line designed specifically for Gas Chromatography (GC)—at the ASMS 2025 conference in Baltimore, Maryland. The Intura series, comprising hydrogen, nitrogen, and zero air generators, offers laboratories a premium, all-in-one solution to enhance analytical efficiency and data quality.
Building upon Peak’s flagship Precision series of GC generators, the Intura series was engineered to provide greater flexibility regarding flow rates, gas types, and pressures for GC applications. Designed specifically for GC laboratories requiring high-purity carrier and detector gases, the Intura series features a compact footprint that saves valuable laboratory space.
Ed Connor, Peak’s GC Product Manager, stated: "ASMS is the most important event on our annual calendar, so launching a new product there is always exciting. The engineering team behind Intura has done an outstanding job creating a cutting-edge GC gas solution with a compact footprint."
"We spent a significant amount of time engaging with customers during the design process to understand their needs and expectations regarding gas solutions; we are confident that we have designed the optimal solution to meet those requirements."
Overall, the Intura series offers a significantly reduced size and footprint compared to the previous generation, alongside lower energy consumption. Additionally, the series incorporates a new CAT chamber design to enhance PSA dryer performance in hydrogen models and features our patented AirMax inlet filtration system in nitrogen and zero air generators, ensuring peak performance across the range.
Intura represents a breakthrough in laboratory gas generation engineering, delivering premium solutions that maximize uptime and support critical laboratory operations.
